I'm now really convinced that Tsunku's been giving all of his best compositions♪♪~ to S/mileage and Mano♥eri of late...
..just as with S/mileage's previous two indies releases~ "aMa no Jaku" and "Asu wa date nano ni imasugu koega kikitai", "Sukichan" embodies everything that addictive & *cute* J-Pop so much should~! "aMa no Jakju" remains as my most favorite♥ song thus far by S/mileage (with their second release "Asu wa date nano ni imasugu koe ga kikitai" a very close second..well sort of close~!!) with its *feel* good~ & so happy rhythm and its pv just couldn't be any better I think~! I love that the girls were able to take their very own candid and fun Poloroids~ which then act as props for the chalkboard in this pv and their "Jitensha" ("bicycle") dance in their choreography is *cute* beyond words!! ( ̄▽ ̄)♥
And I'm thinking that this truly~ must be what it means to be addicted to tiramisu~! Σ( ̄◇ ̄*)!
Watching the "making of" footage really gives you a sense of how developed each member of S/mileage are as idols and that being despite this being their indies debut together~...and my greatest *wish* for this unit? Please Tsunku keep S/mileage a true~ J♥Pop group for as long as possible as there is oh so much out there already in terms of J-Hip Hop, J-Dance as well as J-R&B~ ^ ^。 As it's their type of brand of *pure* J♥Pop in which I so enjoy~ listening to っo(*´∀`)o! I *adore* their closeness to one another and you can see their bonds so well developed even at this early stage~.

Okay, let me clarify this right off the bat, I generally don’t get angry. I don’t get mad, I don’t hold a grudge, I don’t get irritated or annoyed. Not to say that I never have been angry, only that I haven’t felt angry in such a long time, that I’m not really sure what it feels like anymore. Anger is just another of the myriad of emotions that while I am able to recognize it in others, I just don’t see it in myself.
I am extremely tolerant of, well, anything really. Annoyingly, to others that is, nothing gets to me. I guess I avoid stuff that would make me angry, but even more than that, when things are done or said to me that would probably make a normal person angry, it just rolls past me, like water off a duck’s back as they say.
Actually, I said that is annoying to others... it’s a bit annoying to me too. Past being angerless, my overall emotional flatness makes for an extremely boring personality most of the time. I guess it could be said that I’m angry with myself, yeah. I've played through scenarios in the past where real and or hypothetical what if's presented themselves, and each and every time, it plays out the same. I’ll not let anyone walk all over me, put me down in any significant manner or what have you; it's just that anger isn't how I deal with things. I'd say I deal by doing nothing, ignoring it or walking away. That sounds a bit contradictory, but it's worked so far. I won't even pretend tho, that I've even got anything significant to be angry about in the first place.
So... what makes you angry? Do you snap at the littlest of things, or does it take a lot to get a rise out of you?
"Metallic blue" so *pretty* though and the store only had two left! (・д・`*)!Also the DSi came with so many accessories too~! \(^o^)/☆
*Thank you* minna~ for all of your thoughtful messages which helped me so much to shop for and understand the DS~! o(*´∀`)o゛
Hmm..but I still have no games yet (;_;).

"どうぶつの森。。。" dreaming~*!...^ ^。
o(*´∀`)o゛。。。it's actually been quite awhile since I last collected an issue of Bomb magazine...here now celebrating their 30th anniversary~ with their October 2009 issue \(^o^)/☆!
I wasn't aware that Bomb had been in publication for so long~!! and surely with their in depth all things~ idol♥ format they're sure to continue in prosperity for years to come I think~! Had a subscription for awhile...その結果…(写真参照。)↓↓↓(。ーωー。)笑
This publication~ is quite unique as its size is more comparable to a digest...measuring about 8 1/4"x5 3/4" but for it's rather tiny format Bomb really presents so many features monthly that are sure to entice any idol♥ fan~ I imagine ^ ^。Each issue currently averages near 138~140 or so pages and while it's a scale down from their past 170+ pages really all of their regular features have remained very much intact~......from their headline idol♥ feature, idol room checks~!, group/idol♥ news, music release news~, idol♥ games, interviews, live reports, drama/movie news, always so *beautiful* photography~, gravure! gravure! gravure! and so much more!
Hmm.....the only problem with only receiving set "C" is the resulting image above~…(^q^)! As is indicated to the right~....set "C" when aligned adjacently will only produce that *down~there* area of Koike Rina~ (・o・)!!Well the front images are okay~ so (。ーωー。)♪。
This issue's cover girl is the ever *adorable* Manoeri♥~! (*´∀`*) And just in case you're choosing individual issues to get~ the idol♥ on the cover is so much more a substantial event~ than in most other publications.....
.....case in point: You see a most favorite♥ idol/artist/group on the cover of a publication there on the shelf...sadly the issue is sealed...but you purchase it on a moment's weakness to said favorite♥ idol/artist/group..(*´艸`)!。。。reach home♥....open outer wrap.....browse issue frantically searching for cover feature!!! (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ!!!。。どこ?。。どこ?。。どこ??!(・c_・;)?! Then only to realize that your most favorite♥ idol/artist/group was given only 2~3 pages?!!! なんじゃこりゃぁぁあぁああーっっ(;´□`)!!!
。。。。。。。。。。。sorry~! just had a *moment*..(*≧∀≦)☆★ ↓
Hmm...sound familiar? ( ̄O ̄*)
Well,
...with Bomb magazine this will surely never ever occur ever~! o(*´∀`)o゛
The reason being that the idol♥ featured on their covers always get so so so much coverage~!
So,
.....with this issue you'll see 18+ pages of Manoeri♥ if including her off shot feature~! And if you're most curious to know of Manoeri's♥ day to day~living style it's all here....and Bomb's "Growing☆Up" feature which is also a standard with each of their cover features~ includes baby♥ photos~! *KAWAII* deshou~!♥♥♥
Manobaby♥....Manopre~teen♥....Mano~room~layout~♥...Mano~wearing~an~Elmo~T-shirt♥....Mano~with~Hello~Kitty♥..it's all here~! (*´∀`*)。。。
。。and due to Bomb's tiny size I could fit the entire issue while opened up~ to scan the pages in a single scan ^ ^...

I just love this group!!!
But who the heck are these girls? Momoiro Clover??? Sometimes I forget that there are a lot more than three female idol organizations in the universe. You always hear (insert SKE girl) was in some group, and (insert Idoling!!! girl) was in some other group. I never really pay much attention, and it's a good thing because my Amex would never get a rest!
But I like this group's gimmick. H!P has their fru fru Prom Dress flamboyant look. AKB have the naughty seifuku style. Idoling!!! are the sporty girls. And here's Momoiro Clover with the kawaii Yukata look. Their music seems to have a traditional Japanese flair to it, especially the first single which was released this past summer...
And here is a live version of Momoiro "Punch-y" for ya!!!
They are so adorable!!! Momoiro Clover has been around for about a year and a half, releasing two singles over the past 5 months. And like a traditional idol group, they have already gone through a multitude of lineup changes. They are currently a 6nin ensemble, with five graduates. The most notable graduate being Takai Tsukina who went on to be an original member of SKE48 before graduating from SKE this year.
The oldest current member is 16-year old Reni Takagi, who reminds me a lot of C-ute's Yajima Maimi (when she had long hair...bahhhhhhh!) The youngest member is 13-year old Ayaka Sazaki, because she has an adorable smile and looks like a cross between Maasa Sudo and Kana Kobayashi. Yes, there is always one member of an idol group that will captivate me, and for Momoiro Clover...Ayaka is the one, just adorable!!!
By the way, you can check out their profiles on the official site...
One of the big reasons I am so drawn to Momoiro Clover is their gimmick. The outfits are great, and I am especially diggin' on the music. I love the tradtional sound mixed in with the pop. I really hope they don't lose that, because I think it will make them stand out as a group and possibly be a key to big success! I did notice that their second single, Mirai He Susume! sounded a little more like straight J-pop...
I bought both CD's, which are available in multiple versions on all of your favorite J-music buy sites, as well as their 2010 calendar which releases this week. But what really kills me is that they were doing appearances all over Tokyo while I was there this month, and I didn't know them...I MISSED IT, DAMN!!!
Oh well, thank you to my buddy Jasey from Stage48.net for turning me on to Momoiro Clover, definitely a group to watch out for in the coming year!!!
CK in California
Hmm....all I really want to say is 嵐~!嵐~!嵐~!嵐~!!!!I learned from Guldari just recently that Arashi♥ will make their Kouhaku debut at this year's Red & White Songfest♪♪~ どっきどき!o(*´∀`)o゛♥♥♥
Happily the Kouhaku is broadcast here in Hawaii each year on January 1st (on a delay) and has usually begun at 5 pm in the past with performances running for about 5 hours into the evening~ ^ ^。
And there's also so many other artists to look forward to ne~ (*´∀`*)。。。for me, just to mention a few here I'm so much anticipating...Fukuyama Masaharu♥ such a rare appearance~!, Aiko♥, Angela♥Aki, Dreams Come True♥, Ayu♥, Kobukuro♥, Ishikawa Sayuri♥, SMAP♥ and Yes~! AKB48....I'm so so new to liking them.....*thank you CK♥ & Wendy~chi♥! Tanoshimi desu~ne (^-^*)。

With the first press edition of "Speed☆Star" you'll be greeted by a *pretty* plastic outer slip case~ as well as an additional DVD containing her pv~ for the title track "Speed☆Star." And who doesn't love♥ pvs~ ne! (*´∀`*)♥
Ayachan's 2nd album also has very *cute* songs~ to go along with her intense rock energy throughout...and in tracks like "OH! My Darlin'" her sultry♥ voice really shines though~.....so much the essence and ability of a seiyuu to project such emotions all the while being "off screen~!"
Still "Aishite, "Super Driver", "Set me free", "Ano hana no youni" are most favorites♥~!
....no wait! I now think that "OH My Darlin'" is my most favorite♥?....(・c_・;)?it's just such a *cute* song with her style of phrasing and delivery~! Interestingly there's also a song titled "VOXX"...as in this blog's name..."VOX?"…(^q^)

I don’t think I need to say that I love Berryz Koubou, that’s pretty obvious isn’t it? I also don’t think I need explain how much I love~ Tokunaga Chinami. Those two things however, do setup the rest of the post. On October 11, the setlist for Berryz Koubou’s latest concert was revealed; on that setlist, was “Ohiru no Kyuukei Jikan.” What’s the big deal? Well, what made this special, was that the song was to be sung alone, by Chinami. To the point, the day I heard that Chinami would be getting a solo at the concert, on October 11, I bought a plane ticket to Japan. I just had to be there.
So anyway, after a few delays in my flight, I made it to Japan on Thanksgiving Day. The concert wouldn’t be for a few days, so I filled my time doing a little bit of shopping, eating and visiting a couple places that I missed during my first trip to Tokyo. I could only stay for a few days, with work and school keeping me busy, but I tried to make the most out of my time.
One thing I wanted to try, was to go to a maid cafe. I ended up going to @home cafe in Akihabara. That sure was an interesting experience. They served me some juice and some interestingly designed cakes, we did a little chant, played some games and I got my picture taken with one of the maids. It was a unique experience, one that I was glad to try. The atmosphere, and the moe~ oozing throughout the place was a nice sight.
With the visit to the cafe, and to a few places someone I know recommended that I check out, I was able to keep myself pretty busy. Now, on to the concert...
First, I had wanted to get some really good seats, 1-3 row, center. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get them. But that’s okay, because it turns out that rows 1 and 2 weren’t even available. They were taken out to setup camera equipment and such. I ended up getting 4th row tickets in the center for both the afternoon and evening concerts. With the missing seats, that put me right in front of the stage!
I’ll skip a full concert review, but I will just summarize it and say that I had an awesome time! Honestly, during the train ride over, the walk to the concert hall, and while waiting for the concert to start, I could not stop smiling. And afterwards, the smile lingered, I had so much fun. Chinami’s solo was awesome; the Dschinghis Khan beat-boxing was awesome; the girls in fish costumes while Momoko chased them around the stage with a net; the girls did an awesome job of standing out in their own unique ways; it was all awesome!
And too add to the awesome, being in the 4th row I was able to get the attention of the girls. I mean, I’m there jumping around, dancing and such, waving my bright orange glow sticks and strobe light, and they’re there looking straight at me. I don’t mean they were just looking in my general direction, or just turning my way and giving me a quick glance, I mean looking -at- me. A big, tall, black guy kinda stands out, right, lol. During the two concerts I was able to catch everyone’s eye at least once. Near the end of the second concert, I waved and smiled at Risako and she waved and smiled back. Right after that, Chinami gave me the smile treatment as well. Every time they looked my way, my smile would broaden and I’d wave frantically. I know that sounds all fangirlish and what not, but well, I’m a fangirl yeah, lol. Fangirl? Fanboy? Wota!!! God, I love this stuff.
For the second concert I sat with some big time wota. They were really into it. Before the concert we had talked a bit in mixed Japanese/English where I told them about how long I had been listening to Berryz, the first song of theirs I heard, my favorite member and that it was my first Berryz Concert. Anyway, they were really chummy and such throughout the concert.
Headed back home in about 12 hours. Another great trip to Japan, I’m looking forward to doing it again someday.
Does anyone too own a DS?...I'm reading there are two versions?..or so many different models or is it just color choices? Friend's Japanese version~ has most *cute* games and I'm thinking that maybe the U.S. version will play them as well?...as getting a Japanese version~ would be very expensive I think ・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。Which U.S. version to get?
