I just had to fill this out xD Bold ones are the ones that I actually do.
- You can recognize all of your favorite idols' voices.
- You have almost a stalkerish obsession with wanting to meet them or even just see them in person.
5/20. Not too bad. Hey, I'm more sane than I thought I would be ;P That last one kinda applies to me halfway. Since Mari Yaguchi is my favorite idol... but she hasn't released any songs since she left Morning Musume 3 years ago...
What J-Pop Do You Buy?
Upper left to bottom right: Hello!Project 2008 Winter DVD, Morning Musume ALL SINGLES COMPLETE 10th ANNIVERSARY, Morning Musume Sexy 8 Beat Live Photobook, Mini Moni Special Live Dapyo~n!, 4th Ai no Nanchara Shisuu, Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba, Resonant Blue, Morning Musume Best! 2, CHE.R.RY, Sakura Chirari
I normally take any chance I get to buy CD's. And I don't get many chances. I'm only a freshman in high school, so there aren't many jobs I can get (I am NOT working at McDonald's) and thus, no money.
Truthfully, alot of my J-pop are gifts. My aunt is Japanese and visits her family in Japan around the time of my birthday ;D And best of all: she is a Morning Musume fan.
The only J-pop in the picture that I bought myself are: Hello!Project 2008 Winder DVD, Mini Moni Special Live Dapyo~n DVD, Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba single, CHE.R.RY single, and Sakura Chirari single.
When I get a new CD, I first sync it onto my computer. Then I watch any DVD that is in it and listen to it for a while until my family gets annoyed.
YUI's CHE.R.RY and C-ute's Sakura Chirari were the first J-pop CD's I bought, around the time I was 12 years old. CHE.R.RY was the first J-pop song I heard, and Sakura Chirari was just an obsession at the time. Unfortunatly, both singles are pirated.
We bought them off eBay. While browsing to find the best price, it was hard because everything was being shipped from like Hong Kong or Japan. And then, we find both singles available at a store in La Grange, Kentucky (only a 30 minute drive from my house!) but we were unable to find the store and had to order them from their eBay store.
At first I didn't know that there was something weird about the CD's (the cases were much thinner, and there was no back cover to either of them) until I purchased Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba from a much more reliable website.
I haven't had the opprutunity to buy any CD's for a while, but when I do, it will definatly be an album and not a single. For now I try to buy off of iTunes, but I do download mp3's if they aren't available on iTunes.

A Hello!Project online "magazine", Sweet~ Hello!Project: USA was created by a friend of mine. At first we were on Freewebs, but we decided to move to Blogspot and we'll be starting back up in October.
We're looking for some people to help us! We're looking for writers and possibly graphic makers. If you're intested, email us at sweethelloprojectusa@yahoo.com
It doesn't take a genius to figure out that I've been falling behind on news. I'm not as dedicated as I was before when I started Just Another H!P Blog. I've lost interest in reporting news.
So, I've decided to stop blogging H!P news. There are plenty news blogs out there anyway:
http://hellocute.wordpress.com/
http://totallyhelloproject.wordpress.com/
http://kokoronotamago.wordpress.com/
http://jinryuichi-hnph.blogspot.com/
Just to name a few of course. I'm not saying that I'm giving up on news, I just want people who read my blog for news know that there are others.
For now on H!P Fangirling Like Nobody's Business will be... well, fangirling and critisizing (?).
So, iTunes still doesn't have Berryz Kobo's 17th single, Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance, but I have faith in them. They'll get it soon. =]
But since they don't have it, I downloaded it to listen to until I can buy it.
And just as a side note, they got #3 on the Oricon charts for the first day!
Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance
So, when I first heard the title I was just like... well, I wasn't thinking anything because I was so surprised. I mean, why would they sing a song about monkeys? Monkeys fling poo at eachother.
But when I heard the preveiw of the song all my worries were erased. Tsunku has finally noticed that the fans want up-beat songs, like Jingisukan. And actually, this song is very Jingisukan-esque.
Its pure silliness, but its so catchy. I love the intro with the guy speaking and the oriental music. While most people are hating the way "dance" is pronounced, I love it. I can't imagine them saying it with the typical Japanese pronounciation.
There is one thing that I do not like about this sugar-coated single. Its the carnival-themed instrumental break. I hate clowns. I hate them. And this is what the break reminds me of. Not to mention carnivals are loud and crowded, the two things that trigger my panic attacks.
I'm happy more members *cough*Maasa*cough* got to share the limelight with Risako & Miyabi. While she remains the main vocals, Chinami and Maasa both have a very fair ammount of lines. And as mentioned by MorningBerryz, Yurina's voice is as smooth and natural as strawberry yogurt.
Chinami's "BANZAI!" may very well be the best moment in J-pop history. Mari's "sexy beam" is a very close second. A very very close second xD
Maji Good Chance Summer
So the song begins with Risako answering her mother on the phone. And umm... am I the only person who has noticed that she has a slight sith going on? Or something along those lines. She just talks weird.
Lordy, let Risako get into a scandal and have to leave to pursue her studies. There are plenty of Eggs more talented than her, singing and dancing wise. D=<
But anyway. The song is a typical pop song, and it certainly deserves being the B-side. It isn't the least bit catchy and Risako's monologue ruins it.
It looks like everyone has a solo line here and there, except Maasa.
MAAAAAAASSAAA~~ D'=
So, nothing much really to say about the B-side except that its boring.
Overall, I love this release. The awesomeness of the instrumental kind of balances out with the nightmare-enducing carnival-themed instrumental break.

1. You have found a magical J-pop genie who will grant you one J-pop related wish (so no wishing for a million dollars or world peace or anything like that). It can be virtually anything as long as it’s directly related to J-pop, and don’t worry, because this is the nice sort of genie, not the kind who will try to find a loop-hole and screw up your wish. So, what do you wish for???
I'd wish that I could meet my idol, Yaguchi Mari, and be on of her best friends.
2. Is there any J-pop artist or group who seriously pisses you off? If yes, who, and why?
Kusumi Koharu. She's cute and all, but she's just so fake.
3. Who do you think is the sexiest japanese singer out there?
Goto Maki, for sure. She's so pretty and has a great body. Not to mention a voice to match.
4. How about the cutest?
Yaguchi Mari! She looks just like a doll.
5. Best personality?
See above LOL. Her sense of humor and high self-esteem just makes you feel so happy.
6. If given the opportunity, would you rather date person 3, person 4, or person 5?
I'd be bisexual if I were to date them, but whatever. 4 & 5
7. You work for a Japanese music magazine, and you have the opportunity to interview your favorite artist or group. What are a couple of the questions you want to ask them?
Do you ever feel stage fright? Do you ever feel nervous you might let your fans down?
8. What’s the best (J-pop) song to listen to when you are really sad?
A slow, old-school Momusu song if I want to take some time to be emo and pity myself. Anything by Mini Moni if I need something to remind me that life is good.
9. When you’re really happy?
Any of my favorite songs, and if I were to list them all, this would be extremely long.
10. Do you often sing along to your favorite songs?
24/7 LOL Usually I'm listening to music when I'm reading a magazine or something.
11. How about dance?
Depends. I like to "dance" (AKA random hand movements) while I sing along, but if theres a dance that looks really fun I'll attempt it.
12. Artistic integrity question!! If someone offerrered to pay you for blogging, but they were allowed to censor some of your opinions or veto some of your blogging ideas, would you do it?
No. As much as I love cold, hard cash, I want to be able to blog just for fun.

Response to this survey. =]
Goals:
Why do you blog?
To inform people on news and just talk about my fandom in general - because most people I know in real life wouldn't even listen.
What long-term goals do you hope to accomplish, if any at all?
I hope that my blog is a little entertaining and someday I hope it's as popular as Some Boys! Blog.
Where does your blog fail to meet your goals?
Making it entertaining at times is hard =/ I can't think of amusing things at times. And of course this blog is in no way as popular as SB!Blog.
If you do have goals, what will accomplishing them do for yourself?
Gain self esteem? I guess...
What do you want to gain out of blogging? A creative outlet? Praise from others? Personal satisfaction? Money?
Money? Can you seriously get paid for blogging? Wow. Nahh, I just blog to be creative.
Do you feel that your blog should meet a requirement for amount of entries? Do you feel any particular entry should be a certain length?
I have a big OCD about not having long posts xD It has to be at least two paragraphs.
For any particular entry, what motivates you to start and finish blog posts?
If its something really boring that I have to post, my motivation is that I know I'll be informing people.
Do you actively consider long term goals for each individual post?
No Dx
Subject Material:
What do you blog about?
Hello!Project news and nonsense.
Would you be keep a blog even if it wasn’t about the subjects you tend to cover?
Sure. Blogging is fun.. haha.
Do you write about the material to promote it to others?
I'd like for people to know about H!P by blogging about it, but other than that, no.
Readership:
How much do you care about readership?
Alot.
Does it satisfy you to know people are reading, even if they don’t comment?
Yes, because if no one was reading it, why would I keep a blog?
What effect does receiving a comment have on you?
I feel happy because then I know that there are readers and they took the time to read an entry.
Do you write with a particular audience in mind or an unspecified general audience? Why?
Depends. Usually my audience is H!P fans, but sometimes its for the general audience. If someone who had no idea what H!P was read my blog, they'd be totally confused.
If you write for a particular audience, is it International Wota? If yes, why?
I write to IW. I like it when they post my blog, and I feel extremely happy if its recommended.
Community: (The International Wota section)
If International Wota didn’t exist, would you blog?
Of course. But the number of reader's I have were most likely recommended from IW.
When IW covers an entry of yours, are you encouraged to blog more or less?
More.
When IW does not cover an entry, are you encouraged to blog more or less?
More.
How often do you read other blogs?
Everyday.
How often do you comment on other blogs?
Every once in a while... ( > _____ < )
If another blog covers a topic that you wanted or wished to cover, do you still blog about that specific topic? Why or why not?
Yes, because I want to put my own words into said topic.
Commitment:
How serious is your attitude towards blogging? Do you consider it just as something to do for fun?
Something to do for fun. =]
How often do you blog? How often would you like to blog?
Usually everyday or every other day.
What priorities do you or have you put aside in order to blog? Why?
I put blogging in front of my studies... ( > ___ < '''' )
Do you see yourself blogging in 6 months? Why or why not.
Hmm... I'm not sure. In 6 months I'll be in high school which means more studying... but, its likely that I will be. If not everyday, I'll definatly blog on weekends.
Personal:
Would you say you blog for yourself?
No.
What is your feeling after posting an entry? Is it relative to the time and effort you put in an entry?
I feel good, and most of time I feel refreshed, sorta like I got something off my chest.
What needs does blogging fulfill?
My want to get the word out.
Do you consider yourself a writer?
My family tree is nothing but writers xD So, yes. I enjoy writing (except for fiction).
Do you consider yourself good at writing? Good at blogging?
I'm good at writing non-fiction. 'Nuff said.
How much of your personal life do you share on your blog? If none, why do you leave this out?
Not alot. I don't want this blog to be directed towards me. Thats what diaries are for.
Test to see if I can post again. AND I CAN! OMG YES!!! YES YES YES!!
*spazzes*
I missed you, Vox <333
